Having been used for the creation of bamboo furniture, this space is suitable for almost any artistic or small business endeavor. The workshop was built in 1999, is of anti seimic construction and remains in excellent condition. The total work area is 2000 sq. ft. (185 sq. meters). The workshop stands on a little more than 1/2 acre (3549m2) of land and was planted with 20 different species of clumping (non spreading) bamboos. Having said that, any number of bamboos can be removed to my own collection across the street to suit a new owner's plans. In the middle of this small plantation is a level rise that cd. be an excellent building site for a very private home. The location is very accesible, just 300 m south of Highway 32, the main artery between San Jose and Limon. The bustling city of Guapiles is 6 km to the east and San Jose is a 90 minute drive west thru the beautiful Braulio Carrillo National Park.
